Planning a Positive Day

One of the Law of Attraction ideas is to write it down and make it happen.

I believe writing it down does two things; it's like a contract. Those few words put down on paper (or computer) bring it a little closer to reality. See it in black and white and it bring your subconscious a little closer to truly believing it can happen.
Second it's like a mantra. Another way to make it real and something that's out there for God or the Universe to bring into your life.

So how do you plan a positive day?
Start with the statement; Today is going to be a great day!
     Then ask for more. 🙏
Today something amazing is going to happen. Something wonderful will make me smile.

These simple statements should be said first thing in the morning. Say it over and over as you get ready to go out and face the day. Let your mind believe it.

Now as you go through your day be on the look out for those good things you might have otherwise missed. Did you get an unexpected compliment from a coworker? Did someone bring donuts for the group? Did you see a butterfly or Blue Jay near by. Remember all these little things can make your day beautiful.

Crazy days happen to everyone. Be the one who looks for the good in situations. Have to wait in line somewhere? Well, that's 5 minutes you can just relax. Grumpy coworker? Ask if they're okay. You might be the only person who checks on them that day.

Look for the good in the world. Sometimes we fail to see the beauty when we're only concentrating on the negative.

Have a joy filled day!

Acceptance, Courage, Wisdom

Face it, this new reality we live in is tough. It's like one day normal ran away and we're left to wonder if it's coming back. Ever?
There's that Serenity Prayer that coaches us to accept things we cannot change. Probably a good thing to remember right now. Find comfort in knowing what you can control and what you can't.

In today's climate we can wear masks, stand 6 feet apart, and do our best to keep it clean.  That's it. That's what's in our control right now.

We can't change the minds of those who don't abide by these common sense guidelines and  we shouldn't try. All they have to do is turn on the TV and they can see the facts. For some reason they don't want to face this new world.

So, let's just ride this out. Let's keep ourselves and our families safe and know sooner or later we'll be on the other side of this virus. Pandemics don't last forever, science is moving forward and the world will go on.

Stay positive and focus on what you can do this day, this hour, this minute.
Stuck in the house either by lock down or choice make it a good day. Rearrange the furniture, try a new recipe, bake some cookies, check for take out or virtual activities of games & art classes,  build a fort in the living room and hunker down with a good book. This time is yours. Enjoy it. The real world will return and we'll be back to our jobs, routines and friends. Have faith.

Staying Positive in Covidland

Life overall can be confusing and sometimes difficult but here we are now in a land of Covid. What happens next is uncertain.  Will life be the same when we get on the other side of this? What will change and what will we still be able to hold on to?

When we look around it's important that we still see the beauty in the world. The kindness in those around us. For there are more out there with kind hearts, it's just the crazy ones who make the news. We can't blame the media, they're just doing their jobs. People do things, they report them. Done.

What if we just went forward from here and sought out the kindness in the world. Just see those around us who do the little things. Did someone help that old woman take something off a high shelf? Did you get a nod & hello from a neighbor? Maybe you just watched the sunrise and it was beautiful.

Don't pass up those little positive signs in the day. Watch for them. Add them up and know there is still good out there in crazyland.  Focus on the good and turn away from those who dwell on the negatives. Maybe share those little positive things you saw today and brighten someone's day.

There is a Positive Life Ahead.

When you know, you know
